PORTOBELLO RESIDENTS SURVEY UPDATE SENATOR IVANA BACIK

FITZGERALD-KEARNEY LABOUR BRANCH, PORTOBELLO, DUBLIN 8 We are your local branch of the Labour Party, with members drawn from across Portobello and the South-East inner city. Over recent months we have been conducting a survey of residents in this area to try and identify measures that would improve the quality of life for all of us living and working here. On the opposite side of this page you will find a summary of the questions that we asked, and the responses received from local residents. We have informed Dublin City Council of these responses and asked them to take action on the measures identified. In particular, we have asked that they would consider redesignating the Portobello area as a 30km per hour zone for traffic, in keeping with the wishes of 83% of the residents surveyed. If you are interested in participating in the next stage of the survey, please do complete the questions asked in the enclosed form. We will keep you updated on developments and measures adopted in response to concerns expressed by local residents. Thank you for your time.
