€125,000 FOR BALDOYLE AND BAYSIDE The Draft Programme of works for the local area was recently passed by councillors. Included in the plan was €55,000 for Path repairs in Baldoyle, with work planned for the following locations: ■ College Street (from Willie Nolan Road to Dublin Street)
■ Grange Park
■ Marian Park
■ Baldoyle Road (from St. Dominick's Well to Elphin Public House)
■ Brookstone Road
■ Railway Avenue
■ Grange Road
■ Parkvale Extension
Work is also planned for Bayside and Sutton. A further €32,000 will be spent in Bayside and Sutton including: ■ Alden Road ■ Alden Park ■ Alden Drive ■ Sarto Road ■ Verbena Lawns ■ Glencarraig ■ Church Road Normal path repairs will also take place outside this programme. Other works for the area will include speed readers for Station road, drainage improvements for the coast road to Portmarnock and on the Grange Road totalling a further €37,000.

With planned investment in trees and parks for Baldoyle, Sutton and Bayside, the total planned works will be over €200,000.
