Journey into isolation on the shores of Elinor Lake, and sleep in a wood-heated wall tent on the doorstep of the backcountry. Depending on the season, Off Road Adventures will take you to the remote site by boat, ATV or snowmobile.

OLD CONKLIN ROAD

North of Lac La Biche Lake, the wilderness is open to all but adventured by few. Old Conklin Road winds through the sea of trees, deep into Crown land where backcountry camping and exploration await.

The road is not an all-weather route, and the journey to Goodwin, Steepbank and Wappau Lakes can be an adventure in itself. Go far enough north and you may even spot endangered woodland caribou.

Wherever you roam, treat the land and waters with the respect they deserve. Nature is sensitive. Remember that others have come before you and others will come after you.
