DARK SKY PRESERVE

Lakeland Provincial Park & Provincial Recreation Area together form an official Dark Sky Preserve, which means they’re unspoiled by light pollution. The preserve offers fantastic opportunities to see constellations, meteor showers, the Northern Lights and more in all their glory.

We recommend skygazing at Pinehurst Lake Day Use Area, which has panoramic views to the north, east and west.
