There are so many exciting no to low-cost things to do in Lac La Biche County! Get out, explore and be active as a family with these and other amazing activities, resources, programs, and events this Spring & Summer.

Explore our rich history and diverse culture by visiting all of the local museums and historical sites in our region!

Free access to the Canadian Natural Walking Track – clean, indoor runners required.

Older adults (50+) can join the Strengthen & Stretch programs to stay fit and socially connected. Bold Center’s Runner RE-Use program provides free indoor running shoes to those in need – donate a gently used pair of runners & receive a free admission pass!

Community Access Bus & Paratransit Bus provides lowcost transportation to and from appointments and events.

Borrow toys from FCSS Young Families toy lending library

Join the Park & Play Fun Van for mobile programming and events throughout the summer.

Prescription to Get Active (RxTGA) program – talk to your doctor for details.

Read a book, surf the net, play Lego, enjoy video games and even borrow an iPad at your local Lac La Biche County Libraries branch.

Get wet & wild at the Paul Richard Memorial Spray Park at McArthur Place (open seasonally from mid-May to September).

Explore the network of trails throughout the County and at Sir Winston Churchill Park.

Dig It and hit the sand down at the beach volleyball Court. Check out the new Rotary disc golf course at Alexander Hamilton Park.

Explore the many museums, historical sites and visitor centre to find out more things you can do and see.
