Offleash Dog Park

If you have a canine companion who likes to burn off excess energy and socialize with other dogs and people, the off-leash dog park at Alexander Hamilton Park may be a great place to explore. A few things to know before going to ensure everyone’s safety include:

» Dogs may be at large (off-leash)

» Dog owners are responsible for keeping their dog under control at all times (please be courteous of other park users)

» Dog owners should carry a leash

» Please pick up after you pet (bag stations are provided)

Plan ahead to enjoy a safe day out on the water

» Before heading out on a boat, ensure that all persons on board – even strong swimmers are outfitted with a correctly sized lifejacket appropriate to the activity.

» Have a plan before you head out on the water and be prepared for any possible weather changes or emergencies. Carry a phone, horn and emergency kit.

» Be aware of and monitor weather and water conditions and head to nearest point of safety if conditions change.

» Ensure boaters know how to safely operate, load and unload the vessel.

» Never consume alcohol before or during boating.
