Spring came alive with the creative, colorful Art of Health Gala benefiting St. Luke’s Hospital at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis in Clayton on March 12. The Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital presented gala guests with an evening of artinspired cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner; opportunities to explore their own artistic sides at a graffiti corner; a performance by Oz the Mentalist; and other activities – all while they donned their own inspired, vibrant cocktail attire. St. Luke’s, which has been serving the metro area for more than 150 years, raised $500,000 at the event, and that money will go toward the hospital’s heart and vascular care, oncology services and other operating expenses.

The timing of our Friends of St. Luke’s Art of Health Gala is impeccable as we emerge from the pandemic and celebrate how exceptionally well St. Luke’s rose to the challenge of these past two years. Hospitals are always about people – the patients we serve and the healers who heal. Philanthropy and support from our community also play a crucial role in keeping us at the forefront of award-winning health care. This gala is a much-anticipated opportunity to recognize and applaud all who give to and trust in us.
