Do you love to sing? Perform? Then this class is for YOU! Weekly Musical theatre performance classes where you can connect with new and old friends alike while singing, dancing and acting. With an emphasis on storytelling, we delve into character development, scene work, music and choreography. This awesome class will culminate in a showcase for your loved ones (if possible)! Music FUNdamentals with Ukulele (13-18yrs)
Join music educator and performer Orith - Lady O - on a journey of musical empowerment for youth. Over the 6 weeks together, we’ll immerse ourselves in the FUNdamentals of music. Understanding music requires a simple and strong foundation. Since the language of music is layered, this course is designed to help break down the basic building blocks to encourage learning, one layer at a time. We’ll awaken our ears, warm up our voices, engage the mind in music theory, play rhythmic coordination games, move our bodies and explore how to play the ukulele. Space is limited to create an intimate bubble and supportive setting. Cultivating the joy of music brings out the best in us! Here’s to giving our youth opportunities to discover their best selves.
