More than 80 pieces spanning bridal couture, occasion and festive wear heralded the coming together of technique, craftsmanship and innovation: Lightweight lehengas, shararas, peplum blouses, concept saris, structured drapes, anarkalis and fusion-style jumpsuits exude pure celebration. Contemporary occasion wear for those intimate preweddings plays with chikankaari, mukaish embroidery and kanjeevaram, in light, new avatars for the stylish bride. When it comes to couture, contoured construction, patterns and unique fabrics merge to make the garment feel like second skin, sensually moulded to shape every curve, and yet, allow the freedom and comfort to dance the night away. In what was probably a first ever at any India Couture Week show, Tarun broke from tradition and closed the show with an anonymous ‘non-show-stopper-show-stopper’ who donned a simple but stunning ‘work in progress’ white tulle gown paired with a dainty net mask. The mask covers the face of the person with the intent to emphasize the outfit and have it make a statement about its own identity and that of the craft and workmanship that has gone into its making. The idea behind this was to shine a bright spotlight on the garments, that were truly the show-stoppers for the evening.

How important is fitness to you? Fitness is very important to me it's like the way humans canâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t do without air and water I can't do without workout my day is not complete... But It can be of any form.. Gym, Zumba, swimming, dancing or kickboxing.

How do you design your program or prepare yourself for a character, or performance? My background is theatre so I believe in preparing in realistic level.. I did a show where I was playing a rural Marathi girl I decided to interact with locals to be able to get the dialect ...or when I go for any concert or specially wedding event I do a research on the bride n groom so that I can make them part of show How important is diet and how does your diet look like in general? I believe in staying strong n fit so I don't do any sort of crash diet like keto and all... I feel one should eat healthy n in proper proportions n intervals n include more protein n maintain in a way that you can follow it throughout your life... Fitness mantra that you would like to give to your fans. More than being skinny n slim it's very important to be physically strong from inside out so I always recommend people to follow a balance diet n keep exercising... Every body type is different so what suits me may not suit you so better follow in general a healthy routine rather than following the race.
