Letter from the Chairman

Thank you for joining us this evening at the LaGrangeTroup County Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Chairman's Gala as we celebrate another incredible year Tonight, we gather to reflect on our shared successes from 2024, honor the achievements of our business community, and set our sights on an even brighter future.

Advocacy and connectivity continue to be the foundation of everything we do, driving us toward creating a thriving, inclusive community.

This year, we proudly welcomed 87 new members to our Chamber family, 56 of which were celebrated with ribbon cuttings, reinforcing the strength and vitality of our local business network. This growth is a testament to the collaborative spirit and innovation that defines Troup County.

John Westmoreland J.K. Boatwright CPA, PC

We also celebrated a milestone with the graduation of our second cohort from the Minority Business Accelerator Program, empowering more underrepresented entrepreneurs to thrive in our community.

Our advocacy efforts included representing our members at the national level during the DC Fly-In, championing the interests of our businesses and community

In 2025, we hosted nine Early Bird Breakfasts, four State of the Community Luncheons, four Safety Councils, three Candidate Forums, five Small Business Book Club discussions, two golf tournaments, the annual Valor Awards, a Women in Business event, and of course, the cherished LaGrange Christmas Parade.

Our Leadership Troup and Youth Leadership programs graduated impressive cohorts this year 29 community leaders and 26 youth scholars who completed comprehensive sessions covering key areas such as economic development, public safety, and education

Our communication efforts reached new heights, with a weekly audience of 2,000 subscribers for our Where2Be email, 4,800 readers of our Troup Trends Magazine, and over 11,000 active followers across our social media platforms.

The Shop Troup Gift Card Program continues to thrive, injecting more than $18,000 annually into the local economy and supporting over 40 participating businesses.

These accomplishments are only possible because of your unwavering support and involvement. Together, we are making a lasting impact on our community and creating opportunities for growth and prosperity

As we look ahead to 2025, we thank you for your partnership and dedication to the Chamber. Here’s to another year of success and progress!
