KARMA “Whenever one is being, the other is being, whenever one is present, the other is present, whenever one is absent, the other is absent, whenever one is disappeared, the other is disappeared.” — Nikāya Thinking of Sea Level Rise from Buddhism

All things in the universe do not exist absolutely, they all exist in relative interdependence. Everything is changeable. Only by letting go of the attachments in your heart and accepting all these changes can you achieve the ideal state of peace and stability. Sea level rise is a kind of impermanence. It also brings many changes such as land reduction. We cannot dominate these changes, nor do we need to dominate. Instead, we break the habitual experience model, let go of our attachments, and accept these changes. Undertake the task of building and living in an ideal world without foundations. 20

COMPARISON OF BUDDHIST AND WESTERN RELIGIOUS NARRATIVE MODES

Fetch

Iove

The western religious narrative narrates events in a line according to their cause, course and result, and the events develop in a clear sequence of cause, effect and sequence. The Buddhist narrative does not have a clear cause-and-effect relationship, or a clear cause, course, or result. Instead, it emphasizes a kind of interrelation between everything.

SITE LOCATION AND FLOOD LEVEL

SITE ANALYSIS

The site is located in Samut Sakhon Province of Thailand.Samut Sakhon Province is located on the Banks of The Thagin River in central Thailand. It is the largest fishing center in Thailand.

After 50 years, the sea level has risen by an average of 1.4meters, and most of the Bangkok will be affected by the flood, including our site-Long Tsai Prefecture.

The flood disaster will have a lot of impact on the residents of Bangkok. Many people will lose their homes and be displaced.

In 50 years, most of Bangkok will be under water, and the Buddhist buildings of Bangkok will eventually be under water. We moved the representative Buddhist temples into the site and used these surviving Buddhist buildings to convey the fo'jiao'guan'nian that we wanted to convey.

“Whenever one is being, the other is being, whenever one is present, the other is present, whenever one is absent, the other is absent, whenever one is disappeared, the other is disappeared.” — Nikāya All things in the universe do not exist absolutely, they all exist in relative interdependence.

Whether it is sea, land or man, they are all changeable and cannot dominate the change of impermanence. Not only does the form of everything not last, but the spirit dies with it, that is, there is no permanent spiritual subject.

All things are not-self.

Clinging to sea level changes is also painful. All the emotions, feelings, perceptions, colors and forms that are attached to something are painful.

All obsessions are bitter.

Let go of the obsession with things before sea level rise and accept the changes that sea level will bring, reach the state of enlightenment.

Sea level rise is one of those things that change so much that we can understand how things change.

The state of extinguishing the fire of greed, anger, ignorance, etc., the state of enlightenment.

The operation of all things is impermanent, either birth or death, or death or birth.

Eternity is silence.

All phenomena are impermanent.

Whenever the one is being , the other is being.

Whenever the one is present , the other is present .

Whenever the one is absent , the other is absent.

Whenever the one is disappeared , the other is disappeared.

Everything in the universe does not exist absolutely, but exists in relative dependence. All things depend on certain conditions and interactions to produce development and extinction, there is no fixed, independent existence nature. All kinds of things arise because of karma and harmony, due to discrete and die.
