The Hiltons said they were invited to Christmas cookie exchanges and ornament exchanges. "We don't do things like that at home," said Elizabeth. "It's nice that it's community and that it's family, 'cause that's what Christmas should be about, really," added Sally. With that spirit, the Hiltons invited families to bring their children to
meet Santa on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 13. "The children were so excited," said Elizabeth. The line of children, she added, extended through the store and out the front door. Each child sat on Santa's lap and got a candy cane. "It was so nice to be a part of all that excitement with the children," said Elizabeth. The two were surprised with the turnout; they estimated 100 children visited. Business has been good at Isis Fuller Figure Fashion, said the Hiltons. "The town's really embraced us," said Sally. Letters County may have gone overboard on San Vicente Road project RE: San Vincente Road work letter in the Dec. 18 issue of Sentinel. Indeed, the writer may have a point. Perhaps the county did not go far enough widening and straightening our lovely bucolic drive through the country to homes on the south side. 7YVQLJ[ JYLH[LZ [YHMĂ„J UPNO[THYL and a possible deadly condition By THOMAS W. COOK A little over three months have passed since road work on San Vicente began. I've read one article in the Sentinel that included praise of the way the work was being done and two articles by Ramona High School students. All things considered, I thought there would be far more interest. Removal of the left-hand turn lanes at Warnock and Wildcat Canyon. I can't understand why removing either of the left-hand turn lanes at these intersections was necessary. Self-service technology such as the book sorter at the Ramona branch of the San Diego County Library has earned the county system a 2014 Digital Government Achievement Award. The national award comes from e.Republic's Center for Digital Government. Library technology emphasized in the award includes the book sorters at nine county library branches, mobile app, and 24/7 Library To Go kiosks. In addition to Ramona, branch libraries in El Cajon, Encinitas, Fall-
brook, La Mesa, Rancho San Diego, San Marcos, Santee and Vista also use this technology, giving library employees more opportunity for face-to-face customer service, said Chelsie Harris with county library. Girls water polo beats West Hills By KAREN BRAINARD Following a Dec. 18 win against West Hills, the Ramona High School varsity girls water polo team will try their hand at beating alumni players the day after Christmas. For approximately 10 years, Ramona High alumni who played on the boys or the girls water polo teams return during Christmas break to challenge the current teams. Emily Macon 1926 – 2014 A wonderful woman made her way to a better place on November
27, 2014. Emily Macon was a 39 year Ramona, California, resident, and will be much missed having been a vibrant and active member of the community. Emily was a local real estate agent for over 20 years. She also had over 2,000 hours logged with the Sheriffs Volunteer Patrol, and she was a 30 year member of the First Christian Church of Ramona. Compassion was her nature, as she touched many. Emily was born in Chicago on October 16, 1926, to Archie and Hazel Frost. On April 5, 1944, she married Joseph Taylor Macon in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. They had four sons, Joe, Alan, Marc and Dennis, and a foster son, Steve Altstatt. ting two in the net. "I thought it was a good solid game for us," said Williams. "Hopefully we can build on that." The Bulldog girls will compete away against Westview High School at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 6.
Ramona girls will have an opportunity to play on youth volleyball teams sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union this winter and spring following AAU team assessment on Jan. 10. Preceding the assessments, Ramona High School is offering open gym sessions. Co-ed open gym sessions were held in the Ramona High gymnasium Dec. 13 and 20, and a third co-ed session will take place in the gym Jan. 3. High school players participate from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and eighth grade and younger from 2:30 to 4:30. "Attendance is real good. (There's) a lot of interest with the younger kids and a lot of good ac-
tion for the older kids," said Connie Halfaker, organizer of the sessions as well as head volleyball coach for Ramona High School's girls team and assistant coach for the boys. The sessions began with about 40 high school students and about 35 younger players participating Dec. 13. The open gym sessions are free and do not require a commitment to the AAU season or to the boys or girls Olive Peirce Middle School teams. "It just gives them a chance to see what they want to do," Halfaker said. The AAU assessment session Jan. 10 will be followed by registration and a parent meeting Jan. 17. The tournaments will be-
gin Jan. 25 and continue until May. Because high school boys volleyball is a spring sport and the CIF prohibits participation in club activity during the CIF season, the AAU teams are for girls only. Halfaker WSHUZ [V Ă„LSK [^V HUK under teams, two 14-andunder teams, and two 12-and-under teams. Each team will have 12 to 13 players. 0[ PZ H Ă„YZ[ JVTL Ă„YZ[ serve," Halfaker said of registration. Practices will begin Jan. 17 and will be at Ramona High School. The tournaments will be played at the Epic Volleyball Center in Poway. Kyle Adelman, the junior varsity coach for Ramona High School's girls and boys volleyball
teams, will coach the high school players with Thomas Pacheco, coach of Olive Peirce Middle School boys and girls teams. Garrett Adelman is one of Halfaker's varsity assistants and will coach the 14-and-under teams. Coaches for 12-and-under players will be Bulldog girls novice coach Jessica Berman, Linda Berman and Jaycee Arthur. Boys who are not yet in high school will have the opportunity to play for the Olive Peirce team. The Jan. 3 open gym session will also allow players and their families to notify Halfaker of their interest if they are unable to attend the Jan. 10 session. Halfaker may be contacted at 760-3103686 for cost and more information.

Trust. The street address and other common designation, if any, of the real property described above is purported to be: 1346 FRANKLIN LANE, RAMONA AREA, CA 92065 The undersigned Trustee disclaims any liability for any incorrectness of the street address and other common designation, if any, shown herein. Said sale will be made in an “AS IS condition, but without covenant or warranty, expressed or implied, regarding title, possession, or encumbrances, to pay the remaining principal sum of the note(s) secured by said Deed of Trust, with interest thereon, as provided in said note(s), advances, if any, under the terms of the Deed of Trust, estimated fees, charges and expenses of the Trustee and of the trusts created by said Deed of Trust, to-wit: $411,529.60 (Estimated). Accrued interest and additional advances, if any, will increase this figure prior to sale. It is possible that at the time of sale the opening bid may be less than the total indebtedness due. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: If you are considering bidding on this property lien, you should understand that there are risks involved in bidding at a trustee auction. You will be bidding on a lien, not on the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a trustee auction does not automatically entitle you to free and clear ownership of the property. You should also be aware that the lien being auctioned off may be a junior lien. If you are the highest
bidder at the auction, you are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to the property. You are encouraged to investigate the existence, priority, and size of outstanding liens that may exist on this property by contacting the county recorder's office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for this information. If you consult either of these resources, you should be aware that the same lender may hold more than one mortgage or deed of trust on the property. NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNER: The sale date shown on this notice of sale may be postponed one or more times by the mortgagee, beneficiary, trustee, or a court, pursuant to Section 2924g of the California Civil Code. The law requires that information about trustee sale postponements be made available to you and to the public, as a courtesy to those not present at the sale. If you wish to learn whether your sale date has been postponed, and, if applicable, the rescheduled time and date for the sale of this property, you may call (714) 573-1965 or visit this Internet Web site www.priorityposting.com, using the file number assigned to this case 1451848. Information about postponements that are very short in duration or that occur close in time to the scheduled sale may not immediately be reflected in the telephone information or on the Internet Web site. The best way to verify postponement information is to attend the scheduled sale. If you are the highest bidder at the auction, you are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to the property. You are encouraged to investigate the existence, priority and size of outstanding liens that may exist on this property by contacting the county recorder’s office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for this information. If you wish to learn whether your sale date has been postponed, and if applicable, the rescheduled time and date for the sale of this property, you may call 877-484-9942 or 800-2802832 or visit this Internet Web site www.USA-Foreclosure.com or www.Auction.com using the file number assigned to this case 7042.14299. Information about postponements that are very short in duration or that occur close in time to the scheduled sale may not immediately be reflected in the telephone information or on the Internet Web site.
