Reykjavik, ICELAND Hotel Borg Arrive in Reykjavik and be transferred to your luxury hotel. Depending on the arrival flight time, you may stop at the popular geothermal spa, Blue Lagoon, to relax after the flight. One of the world’s smallest capitals, Reykjavik is believed to be the location of the first permanent settlement in Iceland and is now the heart of the country’s cultural and economic activity. Gain an insider’s view of the city with modern buildings and fresh bright colors on a walking tour. Drive past Bessastaoir, the residence of the Icelandic President and visit the city’s Arbaer Outdoor Folk Museum where traditional houses from other parts of the island have been relocated. Ride across Langjokull Glacier and through the manmade ice tunnel and cave. Take a whale watching ship to see the Minke, Humpback and other types of whales that call the North Atlantic home.

Hella Hotel Ranga On your way to Iceland’s south coast, visit the Golden Circle - Iceland’s Big Three: Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Thingvellir National Park. Explore these scenic natural wonders and learn about their significance and history. The roots of how the island was formed can be found at Thingvellir, and it is an UNESCO World Heritage Site – the first one named for Iceland.

Reykjavik & Depart Home Hotel Borg Ride in a 4 x 4 vehicle or Super Jeep out to Thorsmork valley, situated between three glaciers, and the realm of the Thunder God, Thor. Witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption from thousands of years ago as you walk into a lava tunnel and admire the colors on the walls from assorted minerals within the hardened lava. Take an opportunity to stop at the waterfall Seljalandsfoss. On Day 6 you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home or to your next destination.
