Tari Ambua Lodge Fly to Tari, which is home to the Huli, a colorful and proud people still living today as their ancestors did. Your lodge is located in the Southern Highlands mixed with local architecture and spectacular views. They are one of the largest cultural groups in Papua New Guinea, numbering approximately 90,000. You’ll enjoy a guided nature walk through the alpine forest looking for the exotic Bird of Paradise.

Karawari Karawari Lodge Our journey continues via charter flight to Karawari as we fly over some of the most rugged and impressive landscapes in the world. You will be transferred by river boat to the Karawari Lodge. Your adventure will take you on a village tour of Kundiman for a sago making demonstration, which is the staple food for the river people. You will see village life including carved totems, drums, woodcarvings and different expressions of art. There is bountiful birdlife along the rivers and nearby lakes for you to enjoy in this Sepik region.

Mt. Hagen Rondon Ridge Continue by charter flight to Mt. Hagen which is a town in the upper Wahgi Valley, with some of the oldest evidence of agriculture in the world. Located on the Kubar Range, Rondon Ridge has unbelievable views of the Wahgi Valley. Here you will enjoy the unique culture and tradition of the Melpa people. Mt. Hagen is a city where stone meets steel, where tradition and history is juxtaposed against modern ways.
