Succulent Terrarium

Sometimes referred to as “gardens under glass”, terrariums make wonderful gifts and centerpieces, even for people who consider themselves plant-challenged. Regardless of a terrarium’s size, it will have four levels including gravel, moss, soil, and plants. These indoor glass planters are low maintenance and easy to care for. Bring a friend or family member. Great for a small group get together. All materials are supplied, One terrarium per person. Class time is approx. 1 hour.

Build your own spectacular four tiered moss basket with easy step by step instructions. Learn about the many new plants available in 2023 and acquire the skills to make more baskets at home. All materials are supplied, including approx. 40 plants. Get your friends and family together for a hands on, in the dirt, fun filled evening. Why not make it an early Mother’s or Father’s Day gift! Herb & Veggie Planter

Create your own sun to semi shade herb and vegetable planter. great for patios, decks and small places. With easy step by step instructions you will fill a 16 inch pot with a variety of herbs and vegetables you can feast on for the season. Also learn how to fertilize your planter and what insects and diseases to watch our for. Maximum 1 planter per person.

Summer Bulbs

This free class will introduce you to an array of beautiful summer blooming bulbs. Most bloom their first growing season and are excellent for use in regions with hot summers. In general, these are a versatile group of bulbs where many years of breeding improvements have created a kaleidoscope of colors and flower forms. Learn about planting and care of many popular summer blooming bulbs including Dahlias, Lillies and Gladiolas. Canna and Calla Lillies and more. A demonstration will be followed by a Q & A.

Annuals for Planters, Hanging Baskets and Flower Beds

Planting annuals in beds or pots marks the beginning of a long show of eye-cathing flowers and leaves. Annuals keep on giving through the growing season, unfurling flowers and colorful foliage until frost arrives on the scene. But often the big questions are sun or shade, water wise or daily care? Knowing when and were to plant annnuals will get your seasonal show off to a solid start. Understanding the Okanagan’s unique growing conditions and how to plant annual flowers in another key to success. Bugs and fertilizing questions - we are here to help. Functional Fitness

Put your body to work! Enjoy a full body toning workout, with emphasis on balance training and functional strength. Flexible strength will be the focus of this 55 minute class, utilizing the stability ball, tubing and hand weights. Gain an awareness of proper body alignment and exercise technique while improving core strength, posture and balance. Awaken your muscles from head to toe in a fun and upbeat environment. This class is a moderate workout, suitable for everyone. Choose the one that’s right for you, 50+ or all ages. No class April 6.

TRX - HIIT Class

Expect a low impact, body weight workout with an emphasis on correcting postural imbalances and improving stability. The last portion of the class will feature a long, invigorating stretch.
