Explore everything about Lakehead as we feature our Undergraduate Degree programs and extensive student life and student services. Whether you’re coming directly from high school, considering a transfer, or upgrading skills, this is the opportunity to chat with faculty and staff and get your academic career started.

• Join us for coffee and conversation with various student supports including Student Central, Student Awards & Financial Aid, Student Health & Wellness and more. Bring your questions!
• Attend a program showcase - Join faculty members for an in-depth look at what to expect as a student in specific programs. Program showcases are approximately 45 mins in length.
• Explore campus and learning spaces through an in-person tour led by current students or recruitment staff.

Fill in a ballot for the daily Grand Prize Draw at the Welcome/Registration table before 3:00 pm on both Tuesday & Wednesday. One name will be drawn at the end of each day and the winner will be contacted directly!

Introduction to power semiconductor devices: structure, principles of operation and characteristics. Trigger and timer circuits; commutation and protection; controlled and uncontrolled AC-DC converters and AC-AC cycloconverter voltage controllers; DC-DC chopper circuits; switch mode power supplies; DC motor control; DC-AC inverter circuits; AC motor control and uninterruptible power supplies. Business Program Lecture: Marketing Management II
LOCATION: RB 1044
Building upon the concepts and techniques introduced in Marketing I, this course introduces the major marketing policy decisions that influence the successful design and implementation of the organization’s marketing strategy. Emphasizing a decision-making perspective, this case course requires students to consider formulation and management of the firm’s product policies, pricing strategy, promotional programs and distribution channels. In addition, students are introduced to selected topics of current interest to marketing managers. Today’s lecture will be on digital marketing. Presented by Dr. Joel A. Mohr
Nursing Program Lecture: Nursing Inquiry

Promotes an understanding of professional knowledge in nursing by exploring what constitutes knowledge, information and evidence.
