* Free Tuition Scholarship is based on final top 6 Grade 12 U/M marks. If final scholarship average decreases below 95% and the student had a 95% in May, a $4,000 renewable scholarship will be awarded. See 1 for $4,000 renewal criteria. 1 Free Tuition Scholarship and $4,000 Scholarship renewable provided a 90% average is achieved in each academic year. If your university academic average falls between 80.0% - 89.9%, you will receive an amended scholarship valued at $2,500/year for each subsequent academic year for the remaining term of the scholarship. 2 Renewable provided an 80% average is achieved in each academic year.

UNDERGRADUATE ENTRANCE BURSARIES FOR CANADIANS

Our entrance bursary program provides over $300,000 CAD annually for Canadian students who demonstrate financial need. ç Destination Lakehead Bursary - Up to $3,000 CAD ç Travel Bursary portion of up to $1,000 CAD is based on living distance from the Thunder Bay or Orillia Campus (must be at least 250 km away) ç Application Deadline: Round 1 - April 15, 2023;

Round 2 - June 30, 2023

UNDERGRADUATE PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CANADIANS

ç Value: Up to 2 X $30,000 ($7,500/Year for 4 years) ç Awarded to outstanding Canadian high school students annually who have achieved a minimum 90% average and have demonstrated leadership qualities and made significant contributions to their high school and their community. ç Application Deadline: April 25, 2023

As a full-time Canadian (domestic) graduate student at Lakehead University, you have the opportunity to apply for several scholarships, awards, bursaries and graduate assistantships throughout the academic year.
