Hear from our THUNDERWOLVES I chose Lakehead after transferring from a large school where I felt like I was just another number. I enjoyed the idea of having small classrooms where I get to connect with my peers and know my professors.

Rufaro Muzorewa SOCIAL WORK, 2023

Lakehead gave me the understanding to be flexible and think outside the box. It truly fostered my academic goals in a way that has allowed me to not only prepare for my career but to also thrive.

Stephanie Chartrand POLITICAL SCIENCE, 2021

For mature students that are coming into a program after taking a few years off, although it can be challenging when you think everyone will be significantly younger, I found that wasn't the case. There were a lot of people in my age group. If you're looking to return to your studies, I would highly recommend it.

Keogh Koster OUTDOOR RECREATION, PARKS & TOURISM, 2023

My favourite thing about Lakehead so far has been participating in clubs. Through Enactus Lakehead, I have been able to take what I’m learning in my classes and use it in real world projects. These projects have provided the opportunity to meet high-level executives and business leaders. Club activities have definitely been a highlight of my university experience!
