Financial aid helps make up the difference between what you can afford to pay and the cost of college. Funding sources include: federal government, state government, college/university and outside private sources.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Foundation Scholarships
The Foundation awards more than $500,000 in scholarships each year. You only have to fill out one application to be considered for a scholarship. The application period opens November 1 and closes February 1 for the upcoming school year.
Athletic Scholarships
Awarded to talented athletes who have the outstanding ability to compete on their respective NJCAA team.
Livestock Judging Scholarships
Awarded to students who have the outstanding ability to perform on the college’s Livestock Judging team.
Presidential Scholarships
Awarded to in-district high school seniors who are in the top 15% of their senior class or have an ACT composite score of 26 or higher or SAT score of 1230 or higher. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition for up to two academic years. Talk with your guidance counselor for more information.

Go to LakeLandCollege.edu, click on Apply to create your Laker Profile and fill out the application.
3. PROVIDE PLACEMENT INFORMATION IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
Send in your ACT/SAT Scores.
Place by submitting your High School Transcript.
Take the College Placement Test.
Complete a Transitional Math Course with a minimum C grade.
4. COMPLETE THE FAFSA FINANCIAL AID FORM AS SOON AS YOU CAN
