Favorite Features of the Neighborhood & Area: First and foremost we love the location of the home. Captains Walk property owners have a ROW through Jonathans Landing Association to our road , but we are not a part of their association directly. Our fees are only $100 a month, yet the entrance to get to our road goes through their private neighborhood which is great for walks and biking. This gives the area a great sense of privacy and a community feel without the fees. We could not love our view any more. We can sit on the dock or breakwater and look out over miles of lake water with stunning mountain views. For boating it is perfect, central location to the popular town destinations. We enjoyed cocktail evenings putting around Long Island or heading out to Meredith for dinner. The reason we chose this location was for the sun exposure and views. We get some of the most magnificent sunsets at this property all year long. Because of this south-western exposure we enjoy sunshine all day into the evening!

Lake Winnipesaukee New Hampshire’s largest and most famous lake, Winnipesaukee has been a tourist desBnaBon for more than a century. The NaBve American name for the lake means either “smile of the Great Spirit” or “beauBful water in a high place.” The third largest body of water in New England, it is surrounded by three mountain ranges. The wooded shoreline and crystal water of this spring fed lake make it a popular summer desBnaBon. It is one of the best lake trout and salmon fishing waters in New England, and is ringed with numerous villages and towns that offer everything from boardwalks and waterslides to public beaches and art galleries. All communiBes have public parks and docks. Facts: •  21 miles long, 1-‐9 miles wide •  79 square miles •  Maximum depth is 212 feet •  258 islands •  Driving around the lake distance – 63 miles
