FROM THE SELLERS… 75 Windermere is the perfect home to get close to your family and friends. During our time at the lake we have built a lifetime of memories. Whether boating to the bald eagles’ nest in Moultonborough bay, fishing off Sandy Island with my son, or teaching my kids and all their friends how to wakeboard (even thought I can’t) we have shared experiences with each other that have formed lasting bonds beyond those typical of most families. We set this house up to be the perfect sanctuary for the busy family. The lower level is all about fun and enjoyment. We have a pool table area, a ping pong room with dart board, pinball machines, a sauna that is ideal to warm the body after a long day on the slopes, a hot tub that is just magical during a winter snow storm, and even a Xbox / PlayStation gaming area and poker table. Yet, while we were enjoying out time below, others have relaxed by the Moose Room fireplace and shared quite conversations. The flow from the gourmet kitchen to great room, dining room, and moose room is just perfect. The home never felt crowded even when we entertained our entire family (20 people). The houses position on the lake is perfect for those who like boat to breakfast in Wolfeboro in the morning and then scoot over to bike week at Weirs beach in the afternoon. It is a short 15-minute boat ride everywhere. A nighttime cruise to Center Harbor to see the fireworks on the 4th of July, a hike at Castle in the clouds, or ATVing or Snowmobiling on some of the local trails are just some of the adventures that await you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have…

New Hampshire’s largest and most famous lake, Winnipesaukee has been a tourist destination for more than a century. The Native American name for the lake means either “smile of the Great Spirit” or “beautiful water in a high place.” The third largest body of water in New England, it is surrounded by three mountain ranges. The wooded shoreline and crystal water of this spring fed lake make it a popular summer destination. It is one of the best lake trout and salmon fishing waters in New England, and is ringed with numerous villages and towns that offer everything from boardwalks and waterslides to public beaches and art galleries. All communities have public parks and docks.
