Favorite Features Favorite Features of the Property & House: We love morning coffee on the screen porch while watching the calm waters of the lake. In the evenings we enjoy sipping Baileys Irish Cream from Adirondack chairs on the beach. Great memories were made taking the kids tubing and waterskiing behind the boat on hot sunny days and shooting super soakers off the swim raft was always a good laugh. Sunset cruises around the lake at dusk as loons called over the calm waters was always a tradition. The homes character of post and beams always made it a warm, cozy home. We love the private areas throughout especially the master suite. We always had plenty of storage space as well for our own items and guests. The great part was entertaining by the water or up on the decks. Plenty of room for a big bbq and the sandy beach was always great for everyone of all ages to easily go in and out of the water. The views are beautiful from the house, decks and waters edge. What makes it even better is the exceptional privacy on all sides of the property.

Favorite Features of the Neighborhood: First and foremost we enjoy the location of the house, providing exceptional privacy. The homes surrounding the lake vary from simple seasonal camps to modest homes and the ever-increasing number of luxury lake homes. The lake is large enough for a good afternoon of water-skiing, but intimate enough for casual kayaking along the shores. The lake is never overrun with boats and skiers, but seldom a day goes by without seeing someone out on the lake enjoying whatever season it may be. We also love that the locations conveniently. Just 15 minutes from I-93 and 10 minutes to down town Meredith. We can easily get to ski mountains, shopping and restaurant destinations. We can snowmobile right off our property and go hiking nearby. The lake has an annual canoe and kayak race that is great for family fun! The lake has an active association that monitors the water quality and promotes lake stewardship through education, meetings and activities. Their website is www.LakeWinonaNH.org.

Lake Winona This prisBne 148 acre lake was named aier an Indian Princess whose legend remains a capBve story to lake goers today. The New Hampshire Fish & Game Department stocks rainbow trout annually in Lake Winona, while other species, such as smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, perch and smelt, dart beneath the depths. Motor boats are allowed on the lake, though ski crais are not allowed. Lake Winona's water is part of a watershed which connects to the state's largest lake, Lake Winnipesaukee. Water exits Winona's southern shore into the Snake River, owing into Lake Waukewan and then into one of Lake Winnipesaukee's northwestern bays. A dam on Lake Waukewan controls the water levels at Snake River and Lake Winona. Lake Winona has an average depth of 10 feet, a maximum depth of 40 feet, and a shoreline length of three miles. The lake is 2 miles long, .3 miles wide in most places and has a mean depth of 20 feet. The deepest point, esBmated at 48 feet, is in the widest spot, near Route 25. www.LakeWinonaNH.org
