AFFORDABLE+ QUALITY = VALUE A GREAT EDUCATION AT A GREAT PRICE
These figures represent one year of tuition and fees based on two, 15-contact/credit hour semesters at 2013-14 tuition and fee rates. They do not include room, board, meal plans, books, or course-specific fees. Information gathered from college web sites as of August 2013. All figures are in-state or in-district rates. Out-of-state or out-of-district rates will be higher for most schools.
IN TODAY’S WORLD, ONE WAY TO SHOW HOW SMART YOU ARE IS BY HANDLING YOUR MONEY WELL. That’s exactly what you can do at Lake Michigan College. 10
LMC students received over $9 million in grants and scholarships last year. That’s money that doesn’t have to be paid back after graduation.
Your freshman and sophomore years at LMC will cost a fraction of what you’d pay at one of Michigan’s public universities. In fact, you’ll save an average of $19,000 compared to paying tuition, fees, and room and board at one of the “big” schools. Compared to private colleges in the state that savings can balloon to $40,000 or more! Think if you have to borrow that extra $19,000 or $40,000. You’ll begin paying those student loans back shortly after you are done with school – just when you’re trying to buy a new car, rent a great apartment, and get your life started. Is that what you want to do with your paycheck every month?
BUT WAIT, IT GETS BETTER. AS AN LMC STUDENT, YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO CASH IN ON PART OF MORE THAN 500 LMC SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR. SOME ARE AWARDED FOR GOOD GRADES, WHILE OTHERS ARE AWARDED BASED ON YOUR MAJOR, YOUR INTERESTS, AND YOUR LEVEL OF FINANCIAL NEED. FIND OUT MORE AT
