25 • Lake Arts Council has announced that the Junior Duck Stamp display will begin Feb. 15 at the Osage Beach Public Library. The Ducks will make their way through the community over a 5½ week period, giving ample opportunity to be viewed by the public. They will be on display at the Osage Beach Public Library until Feb. 25. Then they will move on to the Camdenton Public Library until March 7. They will make their rounds to the Versailles Public Library and the Eldon Library in March.

25 & 26 • The Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Home, Business and Lake Living EXPO at The Regalia Hotel & Conference Center featuring vendors offering personal and business services. 26 • Polar Plunge will be held at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Grand Glaize Beach. The Plunge starts at 2 p.m. with the Parade of Costumes happening beforehand. 12 • Docent Training will be held from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. Training for all docents and volunteers connected with the Historical Society will be held. Led by experienced volunteers who will explain the history of the Society, Museum building, and area. Topics to be covered include (but not limited to) the make-up of the organization, daily procedures, special events, opportunities and responsibilities. 12 • The 31st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Water will be held starting at Captain Ron’s. Decorate your boat and join in or get a ticket on board the Celebration for $40 before Feb. 15 or $55 after. The Blessing of the Fleet is at 9:30 a.m. with takeoff at 10 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for best costume/ decorated boat. 19 • Lake of the Ozarks Newcomers/Longtimers is hosting a 1950s sock hop from 5-9 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach. Tickets are $25 and are currently on sale. There will be a cash bar. The ticket price includes typical sock hop fare like hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and a dessert bar. Proceeds of the event will go to Tri-County Communities Care.

24 • Civil War Roundtable will meet at 6 p.m. at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Civil War, Post-Civil War and the Indian Wars is welcome to attend.

26 • The Bridge and Dam Half Marathon, 5K and 10K will be held starting at 7:30 a.m. The route begins on Bagnell Dam, runs over the Community Bridge/Toll Bridge, onto MM and back. Participants can sign up for variety of distances. Money raised goes to the Lake of the Ozarks Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
