The lake level was 658.0, generation of 37,000 cubic feet per second (CFS) throughout the week for a level of 659.0 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 75 degrees. Truman Lake was at the 717.6 level.

To Note: The Lower Lake is from the dam to the 22mile mark; Mid-Lake is from the 22- to 38-mile mark, the Upper Osage is from the 38-mile mark to the Route 65 Bridge.

Tournament Results

Brett and Beau Govreau won the Anglers Choice tournament last Sunday with five bass weighing 23.14 pounds.

Bagnell Dam spillway/Osage River

Water clarity: Stained. Crappie: Fair on small swimbaits or minnows. White bass: Fair on Roostertails. Catfish: Good bumping shad along the bottom.

Lower Lake

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on shaky head worms, jigs, crankbaits and Carolina rig creature baits along bluffs and main lake points. Crappie: Fair on jigs 10 to 15 feet deep along main lake docks.

Gravois

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on topwater lures, jigs, shaky head worms, and crankbaits in shallow brush or main and secondary points. Crappie: Good on jigs or minnows around brush or main lake docks 8 to 15 feet deep. White bass: Good on small swimbaits, crankbaits and topwater lures along main lake points.

Mid-Lake

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Good on shaky head worms and squarebill crankbaits along main lake points. Crappie: Fair on jigs 8 to 12 feet deep along main lake docks.

Grand Glaize

Water clarity: Stained on the upper end and clear on the lower end. Black bass: Good on shaky head worms and Texas-rigged plastic worms along main lake points. Crappie: Fair trolling crankbaits on the main channel or on jigs and minnows along main lake docks.

Niangua

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on jigs, plastic craws and crankbaits along main and secondary points. Crappie: Fair trolling crankbaits on the main channel.

Upper Osage

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Good on topwater lures, shaky head worms and crankbaits on main lake points. Crappie: Fair on minnows or jigs 10 feet deep around docks. Catfish: Excellent tight-lining cut shad or on jug lines baited with goldfish.
