SHOW Wood artistry featured at show

The Lake of the Ozarks Woodcarvers will be hosting their 6th annual woodcarving show, sale and competition on October 15. Over 50 woodcarvers from at least five states will be displaying their wood artistry to the public and in competition. It is one of the largest woodcarving shows in Missouri.

Several artists will offer their carvings for sale. It is a great opportunity to purchase one-of-a kind handmade gifts just in time for the holiday season.

“In the short six years of our show we are proud of the public following this show has created,” Doug Bibles, event coordinator, said. “We thank our community for their continued support. Woodcarvers will be demonstrating their art during the day and are always happy to answer any questions you might have about getting started in woodcarving.”

The show will be held at the Community Christian Church in Camdenton , located at 1064 N Highway 5 in Camdenton. Admission is free and we will have door prizes all day as well as a beautiful realistic flower carving to be drawn for at end of show as an attendance prize. There will also be woodcarving tool vendors and a wood vendors selling tools and wood for all things woodcarving. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase at the venue.
