Sweet Carolina

Born and raised in Charlotte, I attended St. Mark’s for elementary and middle school, Charlotte Catholic High School, and Elon University. My family moved to Huntersville when I was young, so this will always be home to me, even though I now live in Uptown Charlotte. I guess you could say I have deep roots in the Carolinas.

Chilling Out, One Vacay at a Time

I love to travel and explore new places. With a recent trip to the West Coast, I was able to see a good chunk of California. I have a blast checking out exotic locations such as the Virgin Islands and Turks and Caicos. You’ll also find me escaping to the mountains whenever I can. There is something about the openness that really centers me.

Fitting In Fitness

I played soccer growing up and still like to maintain an active lifestyle. I manage to get some kind of exercise in every day—whether hiking, golfing, yoga, or just going to the gym to unwind. I’ve found that working out and eating healthy keeps me fueled and focused no matter what kind of a day I’m having.

Finding Strength In Scripture

I am guided by Joshua 1:9 which reads, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” I believe anything is possible with God by your side. Failing is part of living and being human, and the only way to lose in life is by giving up. I also remind myself that I would fail 1000 times over if there was any chance at being successful. It’s so important to me to just keep moving forward.

Those Who Lift Me Up

I am incredibly lucky to have a great group of friends whom I’ve bonded with over the years. Those are lasting relationships, and they mean a lot to me. They help me to remember the important things in life. When my godmother/ aunt passed away when I was in high school, I was devastated. But in that time, I became stronger emotionally and mentally. It made me realize life can be short, and every day is a gift. w

A Little Background

I was born in Minot, North Dakota, and graduated from Minot State University in 1991 with a premed degree. After completing my doctoral degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1999, I ran a successful practice for 16 years in Minnesota. In 2015, I joined a select few within the chiropractic profession who have earned a prestigious Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophy. I am also a long-standing member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and hold an advanced Certification in Pediatric and Prenatal Care, including the much sought-after Webster technique.

As Fate Would Have It

Me and my wife, Michelle, ran a successful familyfocused practice in the San Francisco Bay area for six years. God guided us to Mooresville during the COVID pandemic, and we never looked back. We found Liberty Prep for schooling, Freedom House for our church, and I had the opportunity to join Advanced Spinal Fitness. My passion and goal is to help athletes achieve optimal performance and to help families thrive.

Searching for a Better Way

When I was young, I saw how my grandparents lived with daily medications and wanted to find a way to help the body function better. I wanted to understand how it was designed, how it worked, and how people could heal so they did not need drugs or chemicals to chase symptoms. Watching their health deteriorate inspired my mission in life which is to help keep toxins, chemicals, and drugs out of the bodies of people, especially children.

Family, Fitness, and Faith

My wife, kids (we have four), and I are thrilled to now call the Lake Norman area home. We so appreciate the beauty of this region: the mountains, lakes, valleys, and beaches … we love it all! To keep fit and active, you will often find me hiking, working out, or practicing at the shooting range. Michelle and I enjoy finding good foods and new eateries as well. We both serve in the children’s ministry at church and very much value the relationships we have built within that community. w
