AN oasis of shops and businesses located on the edge of the medieval town centre. Surrounding a beautiful courtyard and garden, all our shops are local businesses, run by local families for local families, and together provide a tranquil and interesting place to visit.

FRONT COURTYARD

The Art Gallery The Art Gallery is where you can find the wonderful artist, Tom Stephenson. You may recognise some of his wooltastic creations (see photo) but did you know Tom’s gallery is bursting with unique hand painted canvases capturing the outstanding coasts of Northern Ireland as well? Over summer, Tom can often be found outside enjoying the weather while creating his latest masterpiece and is always more than happy to discuss his inspirations and works. Do not be surprised if you hear barking coming from The Art Gallery though, that’s just Tom’s assistant manager, Blue, who is always happy for a scratch between the ears!

The Silver Store In The Silver Store, you will find an extensive range of beautiful jewellery, old and new. The style of Roger and his team is impeccable, and they are more than happy to make sure yours is too! Always happy to help, if your perfect piece is in the shop, they are sure to find it as their beautiful selection includes a wide variety of gold, silver and platinum pieces along with the unusual and stunning Alchemy range, so there is something for everyone. With new collections and stock being added all the time, every visit to The Silver Store is different than the last.

Lodge Men’s Room Only open for a brief week or two last year, we have a brand NEW barbershop, the Lodge Men’s Room! Through the black door, immediately on your left upon entering, and up the stairs, Jack and Jai are friendly, hard-working guys who provide a funky, fresh atmosphere where you are guaranteed to get your next favourite fade.

Mount 10 Gallery Father and son team, Gary and Warren, are opening Mount 10 Gallery, a wonderful mixed genre gallery. They exhibit a range of different artwork (including our very own Tom Stephenson), stunning photography that includes some pieces shot by Gary himself, ceramics and local hand-crafted pieces.

The Mulberry Bush Next door to Mount 10 Gallery, you will find The Mulberry Bush, a beautiful children’s boutique. Whether it’s a special outfit, some comfy garments, or a unique present for your little one, Anita is more than happy to help you find what you’re looking for.

Locos Quickly becoming a favourite for the locals, Locos are serving up an extensive Mexican inspired menu, they are available for collection or delivery within the local area, and the fact they sold out on their first few night tells you all you need to know! Surrounded by our beautiful garden and Marine Gardens park, there are plenty of places to take a seat and enjoy their freshly made fiesta so come on down!

The Secret Bookshelf In our rear courtyard, turn immediately right to find The Secret Bookshelf. Covering everything from the classics to local authors to comic books, there is something for everyone! They also stock a comprehensive range of literary related gifts or items, such as tote bags, night lights, jewellery and, sometimes, even a Niffler or two! Don’t worry if you can’t find what you’re after though, just speak to Chris and Jo to see what magic they can work!

The Nail Room On the left-hand side of the garden, beside the aromatic herb patch, there is Julie and her wonderful team in The Nail Room waiting to pamper you in style with a range of beauty treatments, always striving to implement the latest trends. Alongside her team of contemporary artists, Julie also offers a range of nail training courses, from beginner to professional.

THE Kellie Courtney Hair Design Kellie Courtney Hair Design is lovely salon with a direct view of the garden where Kellie effortlessly provides a friendly and relaxing atmosphere whilst creating your own unique hair style. Dreamy Gifts and Crafts COURTYARD Run by the lovely Lucinda, Dreamy Gifts and Crafts is full of gifts suitable for all ages, and everything can be personalised for that special someone! Lucinda also stocks a large range of balloon displays, money balloons and arches to brighten up a special day. Aletheia Consultancies Aletheia Consultancies are on the first floor CARRICKoverlooking our garden water feature and are available for all your contract carpeting needs. JAVART JAVART is a beautiful treasure trove of homeware and giftware, where you can easily find that perfect present. Alison is also one of the main Northern Ireland stockists for the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, perfect for giving that beloved piece of furniture new life. An avid user of the product herself, Alison is always happy to dish out tips, tricks and advice.

Bath-A-Licious Bath Bombs Up the stairs, we have our most recent new addition, Bath-A-Licious Bath Bombs! Both the factory and the shop, all her products are hand-made right here. Using all responsibly sourced materials, they provide amazing bath bombs full of fabulous bath art and with a full range of not only bath bombs, but also shower steamers, it is well worth a visit.

The Talking Shop Completing our rear courtyard, we have Lee in The Talking Shop. Set up by Positive Carrickfergus to host a project exploring the future of Carrickfergus with the people who live here, The Talking Shop invites innovative thinking and imagination, while providing an encouraging space for community-orientated ideas and experiments.
