It’s great to be a part of the GNI Awards. Charities are in need of support now more than ever. Being able to engage with so many diverse people and businesses helps us to reach our goals. We need the support of local businesses to keep helping the LGBTQIA+ community across Northern Ireland. There are so many ways to get involved and help.

Thanks to GNI over £6500 was raised which we greatly appreciate, thanks another fabulous night.

This award reflects the passion I have for helping others achieve their goals, and I’m truly grateful for the trust my clients place in me. A heartfelt thank you to GNI Magazine for this recognition and to Daniel May for his unwavering support and encouragement. This motivates me to continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact every day.

Cara-Friend were delighted to be recognised and awarded the Inclusive Education Award which highlights the incredible impact Cara-Friend has had on the educational environment in Northern Ireland. With over 29,000 pupils and 9,000 school staff receiving training from Cara-Friend we hope that this award signifies the huge effort made by the Education and Training team, but also signifies the desire schools have to be more inclusive and welcoming spaces for all.

It was an honour and a privilege to have won “Ally of the Year” and receive such positive recognition from a Service User. It was a fantastic evening full of very inspirational people. We have a moral and ethical obligation to challenge hate and discrimination, promote acceptance and celebrate difference. I am grateful to have a platform to support and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and other individuals and minority communities within my role as a Senior Social Worker within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust’s Primary Care MDT service.
