Having lived in London for 21 years now, it’s so heartwarming and uplifting to know that I still have such wonderful support back home in N. Ireland. Being an independent gay artist is rewarding and challenging in many ways - so much work happens behind the scenes to create a body of work and a career, to get recognition for this at an award ceremony like the GNI Mag Awards is an honour.
