HSC Northern Ireland Adoption and Foster Care are urgently seeking new Foster Carers from the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Ireland today. With over 3,300 children and young people currently requiring Foster Care here, HSC Northern Ireland Adoption and Foster Care provides prospective and current foster carers with tailored support, advice and information.

HSC Northern Ireland Adoption and Foster Care are looking for ordinary people who can make an extraordinary difference to a child / young person’s life and brighten up their future. There is no such thing as a ‘Typical Foster Carer’ and HSC Northern Ireland Adoption and Foster Care welcome applications from all sexual orientations, race, religions, language, culture, gender, disability and age. Applications are considered regardless of background, marital or employment status, home ownership status or whether you are already a parent.

With opportunities ranging from short-term emergency to more permanent care, Foster Care can suit your lifestyle. It is important that you enjoy spending time with children, can offer some space in your home and some space in your heart to love a young person.

When you become a Foster Carer you are never on your own. With 24-hour support, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, there is always someone on the other end of the phone. There is ongoing training and support, opportunities to meet other Foster Carers as well as an app on your phone to help with safeguarding children and young people.
