Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses® is an iconic, allAmerican experience that attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators and revelers every New Year. Millions more viewers across the country, and around the world, tune in to watch the nationally televised New Year’s Day parade and college football game, but nothing beats experiencing it live in person. Several festive happenings surround the two main headlining events over the course of a week, o ering familyfriendly entertainment, celebrations, tours, exhibitions, and so much more. Here’s everything you need to know to get in on the historic action and kick-o your 2022 on a high note.

ROSE PARADE® PRESENTED BY HONDA January 1, 2022

The Rose Parade presented by Honda begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. on January 1, 2022. Spectators from around the nation will line up along the 5.5-mile route down Colorado Boulevard, experiencing the sensational signature event while also celebrating New Year’s Day. This year’s theme is “Dream. Believe. Achieve.”

ROSE BOWL GAME® January 1, 2022

The Rose Bowl Game will be held on January 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. The game will feature a traditional matchup of teams from the Pac12 and Big Ten conferences.

EQUESTFEST PRESENTED BY WELLS FARGO December 29, 2021

Saddle up at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center (480 W. Riverside Dr., Burbank) on December 29 for Equestfest. This family-friendly event features gorgeous horses and talented riders that serve as the premier equestrian units for the 2022 Rose Parade. Watch as they perform drills, dances, trick riding, and roping. Attendees can also stroll through the stables, talk to riders, and learn about the various breeds while enjoying and the vendor court, activities, and themed displays.

BANDFEST PRESENTED BY REMO December 29-30, 2021

Bandfest presented by Remo

is a live music event featuring the exceptional bands selected to participate in the 2022 Rose Parade. Over the course of two days, each marching band performs a field show that highlights their musicianship and unique talents. This annual tradition takes place at Pasadena City College (1570 E. Colorado Blvd.) and all are invited to attend.

FLOATFEST: A ROSE PARADE SHOWCASE January 1-2, 2022

Get an up-close and personal viewing of the elaborate floral floats that are parked and on display along Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevard. “Floatfest: A Rose Parade Showcase” proves just how much workmanship, e ort, and design was put into their creation. A shuttle is available from Park & Ride locations in Pasadena.

The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to preserve, protect, and enhance the future of America’s Stadium as a National Historic Landmark.

The mission of the Rose Bowl Institute, an arm of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, is to provide critical educational resources to youth and community through conversations and dialogues. Two components of The Rose Bowl Institute include the Women’s Empowerment Symposium and the Race and Sports Dialogue.
