By rail
If you’re travelling to London by rail for any of our events, keep up to date with the latest information including strike action via the National Rail website.
By tube
Our nearest tube station is Barons Court, which is a three-minute (approximately 200 metre) walk from LAMDA and served by the District and Piccadilly lines. Hammersmith tube station is a ten-minute (approximately 900 metres) walk away and is a fully accessible station, with step-free access.
By bus
We are a ten-minute (approximately 900 metres walk away from Hammersmith Broadway bus station, which is served by a number of buses.
By car
We are outside the congestion charging zone, but there is no parking available on site. The nearest car park is the Kings Mall car park in Hammersmith. The postcode for this car park is W6 0BT.
About the Open Day
This is an open day for all courses. All attendees will be welcomed at a talk hosted by the Principal, Mark O’Thomas at 10:00am. Those who’s main interest is Production & Technical Arts will follow a set programme of talks, whereas those with an interest in any of our acting courses will be required to pre-book their talks, as they may be interested in multiple courses. All attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Drop in Zone, ask questions throughout and tour the building.
About the LAMDA Tours
You’ll have the opportunity to explore the faciliites most relevant to your area of interest. Tours will last approximately 20 minutes and will be taken by one of our student ambassadors or staff and explore the theatre spaces, workshops and facilities. Please note our campus does not have it’s own accommodation, so accommodation will not be part of the tour. View the specific timings of tours on the day in our Foyer. No need to pre book.
About the Drop in Zone
Here you have the opportunity between subject talks, at lunch or the end of your day to drop in to speak to one of Admissions Team, other staff members or students about how to apply, life at LAMDA or any other queries you may have. A specific timetable will be available in the Foyer for the Drop in Zone. No need to pre book, just drop in.
