When You arrive at LAMDA the box office is to your right. You should pick up your ticket here by telling a staff member your name.
Toilets are located right next to the box office if you would like to use them. LAMDA staff will be nearby wearing LAMDA branded Tshirts. If you need any help please ask them.
This is the Theatre Foyer. You are welcome to wait in this area until someone announces ‘the house is open’.
There are plenty of tables and chairs in this area should you want to sit down.
This performance will take place in the Carne theatre.You can access the Theatre by walking through this set of doors in the foyer. The Carne is fully accessible step free.
When you enter the theatre an usher will take your ticket from you.
This is what the stage will look like. You are free to sit wherever you like
During this performance the actors playing characters will run around the seats and through the centre aisles. Some actors will also retrieve items from underneath the seating.
If you do not wish to be near anyone running, or getting items, please speak to an usher who can guide you to a suitable seat.
It's the middle of the night, and Peebs and Epi are the only students left at school over half-term. At the end of their night out, former stepsiblings Red and Jazz try to navigate their reunion. With only a couple of hours until morning, Jaffa tries to help Keesh finish an essay. As day breaks, Wolfie is getting up the courage to confess a secret to VJ at a party.
Their choices are small yet momentous. The hours are small but feel very, very long. And when the night finally ends, the future is waiting –every last bit of it.
The character Peebs will appear in the downstage aisle. He says hello to the character Epi very suddenly, which startles him.
Peebs tells Epi about a cyst he has in graphic detail. The two also discuss medical trauma and operations in hospital very briefly.
The cast of actors begin walking around the stage singing loudly to transition into scene 2. Some actors will grab items from underneath the audience’s seats.
The characters Jazz and Red run around the seats very quickly and suddenly, laughing to each other.
Jazz and Red have an argument about their parents’ divorce. Red states that he wants to hit Jazz.
Jazz confesses to Red that she found some paedophilic content on her father’s laptop.
The cast of actors begin walking around the stage singing loudly to transition into scene 3. Some actors will grab items from underneath the audience’s seats.
The character Keish shouts excitedly when playing a video game with her friend Jaffa. Jaffa joins in shouting when he loses the game.
The cast of actors begin walking around the stage singing loudly to transition into scene 4. Some actors will grab items from underneath the audience’s seats.
Once the cast have finished the scene transition a loud nightclub song will begin playing immediately. The character VJ then shouts over the music to her friend.
A wind noise plays very quietly but then suddenly becomes very loud.
A sudden flash of light and burst of noise happens when the character Keesh says “That’s not the end for people in retail”
A sudden flash of light and burst of noise happens when the character Epi says “Everything in the future will just be more of the same. Or that things might get worse”
A sudden flash of light and burst of noise happens when the character Keesh says “St Petersburg isn’t as cold as I thought it’d be.”
A sudden flash of light and burst of noise happens when the character Keesh says “They didn’t have to do it in a dome”
A sudden flash of light and burst of noise happens when the character Jaffa says “The city I was born in declares bankruptcy ”
Once the show finishes the cast of actors will bow. You are welcome to clap if you would like.
