ast month, the competition’s judging panel comprising photography and meteorological experts selected a combined shortlist from the main and mobile categories and chose their overall winners. The public now has a chance to vote for their favourite finalist before all winners are announced on 6 October. The vote is open from 10 am (BST) on Thursday, 25 August and closes on Wednesday, 21 September at midnight (BST). Different parts of the world and varying landscapes can experience vastly different weather and have climates that many of us may never experience, but thanks to these talented professional and amateur photographers, they allow us a unique window on the world.
