April 2012 Programme Come and join Lancaster City Council for two weeks of activities that are guaranteed to keep you busy during the Easter holiday. Spring is upon us and what better way to spend your Easter holiday than dashing outdoors and taking part in one of our exciting activities on offer in the Lancaster and Morecambe area? Many of our activities have an sporty theme as we look forward to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Why not try new activities such as badminton, distance Olympic swim and Olympic t-shirt designing? They'll all get you in the mood for when the 'greatest show on earth' arrives in the UK this summer.

How to use this guide The details for all of our holiday activities can be found in this brochure, listed in both A to Z format and in a day by day format. The back page also has an ‘at a glance’ section that lists all the activities in date order. Please note that each workshop has different requirements e.g. age, specific clothing, venues vary and transport is sometimes provided. Please see each workshop individually. Please also note that due to some workshops being outdoors they are weather dependant and can be cancelled on the day. If you are concerned on the day if a particular activity is running or not, please contact Salt Ayre Sports Centre for confirmation.
