Judges’ Lodgings Museum From Monday 26th – Saturday 31st October the Judges’ Lodgings Museum will be hosting 6 days of spooktacular Halloween fun. Come along and enjoy a half term packed full of Halloween excitement, from witch and wizard hats to potent potions, join us for some spooky goings on and lots of fun. Museum opening times – Monday 26th – 30th October, 1pm - 4pm Saturday 31st October, 12pm - 4pm Museum Admission – Adults £3, Concessions £2, Children FREE (accompanied) Suitable for 4 - 12 years. Please note that there will be a charge of £1 per child for each workshop to cover cost of materials. Booking for workshops is essential. Please ring 01524 32808 to book or for further details. If you’re a football-crazy Manchester United fan then this is your chance to take part in this very special day. A fully qualified Manchester United FA UEFA B licensed coach will take you through many different aspects of the game from shooting, passing, heading, dribbling and ending with a match. After the footballing fun on the outdoor 3G pitch at Old Trafford, you will take the award winning Old Trafford stadium tour and gain exclusive behind the scenes access to the home of the red devils. You will get to hear about the history of this great club and try on some of the old shirts, boots and gloves from the past and present United legends such as Wayne Rooney and David Beckham. On our great adventure you’ll learn how to build shelters, hunt prey, track animals and take part in a hunt for some hidden treasure. We will also play games that will test your hunting skills such as man hunt and jungle hide and seek. Meet at Warton Crag at the small car park, 50 yards up from the George Washington Pub.

Calling all you adrenaline junkies! Test your nerves with two indoor skydives at Airkix (airkix.com) where you’ll experience the thrill of skydiving indoors, including a free highfly where you are taken by the instructor to the top of the chamber and then you get to experience the real adrenaline rush as you free fall back down to earth! After you’ve landed, it’s time to hit the real snow slopes at Chill Factore with an hour’s snowboarding lesson, then an hour of snow fun where you can take part in any of the following activities: tubing, luging, sledging and snow carving. Finally it’s time to test your head for heights with an hour on the indoor climbing wall.
