Lancaster !

Friday 2nd Nov 2012

Light Up Lancaster is a free event for all the family, taking place in outdoor spaces across the city centre. Take an autumn evening stroll through the city and be surprised and delighted by music, film, dance and art, lighting up Lancaster’s beautiful buildings and squares. Discover a corner of the city you’ve never noticed before, hear the rhythms and sounds at the beating heart of the city, stumble upon a story from Lancaster’s past, or simply see the city in a whole new light. Collect your guide to the Light Up Lancaster events from Dalton Square, Lancaster, between 7.30pm and 8pm on the night, or in advance from The Dukes. See where on the map overleaf.

Lancaster’s Arts Partners join forces with Lancaster City Council and Lancashire County Council to bring you a free walkabout light and art event for one night only.

What’s the latest I can order the wristbands? By 5pm Wednesday 24 October

How many wristbands can I order? Maximum of 6 per household

When will I receive the wristbands? Everyone with an email address will receive immediate confirmation of their order and all wristbands will be sent by post after the deadline of Wednesday 24 October. (please allow a few days for delivery)

What happens if all wristbands get allocated? Don’t worry there will still be plenty of places to view the fireworks outside the 2 main viewing areas – (see viewing area information inside) and the general rule is if you can ‘See the castle – you can see the fireworks!’
