Contamination of your recycling boxes with incorrect items can cause the entire load to be rejected and sent to landfill. Please do not place these items in your recycling boxes. At present we do not collect these items.

Use your kerbside recycling box collection service to recycle as much of your waste as possible.
We will only collect waste contained in your grey wheeled bin, no additional non-recyclable waste will be collected.
Number your bins and boxes and ensure they are returned to your property soon after collection. Replacing lost bins will incur a service delivery charge.

Missed collections can only be reported the day following your collection. You can do this online www.lancaster.gov.uk/bins or by phoning 01524 582491.
Only 1 Grey bin is provided per property. Additional bins are only supplied following an audit and authorisation by a council officer.
Asbestos must not be placed in any bin. Contact Lancashire County Council for information on how to dispose of it at the Household Waste Sites www.lancashire.gov.uk/ waste-and-recycling
Do not litter – littering is anti-social and costly to clean up. Litterers face an £80 fixed penalty notice. Bin your litter.
