Services that we provide... Bookkeeping Charges for our bookkeeping service are usually based on your annual income. Every organisation is different, but as a rough guide our charges can be as low as £70 for an organisation with a turnover of less than £10,000, and £250 for one with less than £100,000.


Independent Examination Most organisations are required to have their accounts checked to make sure that their finances are being managed properly and running smoothly. For charities with an income of up to £250,000 we can prepare a set of year end accounts, as well as verifying your books as a true record of activities.

Payroll You may not have the knowledge, experience or time to run your own payroll. We can calculate your staff’s pay, including PAYE, National Insurance, sick pay, maternity pay and tax credits on a weekly or monthly basis, and prepare wage slips. We will also handle P45s, and P60s, the end of year reporting, P35 etc. Charges (2010) start from: Weekly Payslip - £3 Monthly Payslip - £6 Year end charge per employee - £10 (includes P14, P60 and P35) Set up and registration fee - £25

Applying for funding? You can usually apply for help with your financial reporting – and at Lancaster District CVS we can offer you advice about raising money to do this. Potential funders will appreciate that you have considered your financial planning. Don’t forget that you can usually add payroll fees into bids when applying for grants for staff costs.
