A Little About Us...

Lancaster Parts and Equipment began in March of 1965 as Lancaster Silo by Paul S. Smucker. We have been dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of service and quality of products at affordable prices. In December of 2013, the company changed hands to Paul’s son, Omar B. Smucker, and the company’s name was changed to Lancaster Parts & Equipment Inc. In the 1990s, Lancaster Parts and Equipment started building kernel processors. Then, in 1995, we went from building roller mills to manufacturing hammer mills. Today, we produce quality hammer mills and a large selection of aftermarket parts for a variety of farm equipment. Years of experience and a quality product are what you can count on when you choose Lancaster Parts and Equipment.

2012 2013 2015

Built the first hammer mill and launched Lancaster Hammer Mill, a new division of the company focused on manufacturing our own line hammer mills.

Purchased the first self-propelled harvester to resell.

Added a new building to the existing facility for the growing parts division.

Paul Smucker’s son Omar Smucker joins the business and becomes a partner. Also began manufacturing our own line of after-market parts to further expand our parts inventory.

Built a fully equipped service center to service a variety of farm vehicles and machinery.

Lancaster Silo became Lancaster Parts & Equipment to better reflect the company’s capabilities to the farming community.

Omar Smucker bought his father’s share of the business and became President of Lancaster Parts & Equipment.

Created Lancaster Parts Division to focus on the growing demand for quality and competitively priced aftermarket parts.

Hammer Mills come in variety of sizes for different industries, but are primarily used in the farming industry. For your convenience, we carry four different models of Hammer Mill and have provided instructional guides for all of them so we can meet all your harvesting needs.

Features: 150, 1/8" thick, 4-sided hammers.

Constructed of hardened alloy steel and hard-faced for longevity.

The rear discharge model comes equipped with a reduction gearbox that allows you to hook up either a 540 or 1000 PTO bagger.

The side discharge works really well for farmers who plan on filling bunks. This model will create a nice sized pile that can then be pushed into the bunk.

The blower-out model does an excellent job of filling a silo with high-moisture corn.

This model will fill a 90-foot silo!

All in one bagger-grinding. Makes highmoisture corn grinding simple. Comes with 6', 8', 9' and 10' hoop option. Hoops are designed for easy installation.

Hammer Mills production will vary depending on three factors: Moisture in Grain, Size of Screen and Horse Power.

Example: Moisture of 25 to 28%, Screen Size of 5/16".

Horse Power of 200 = 1 ton per minute.
