Service Offering

Land Insights has worked with local government since our inception in 2002. Over that time we’ve built some great relationships with the sector. We are proud of our work and association with local government and each of our projects are treated with interest and respect with the aim of ensuring the end result is practical and applicable. We enjoy identifying innovative and fresh approaches to each project we undertake.

WALGA has established a Preferred Supplier Panel for the provision of Town Planning Consultancy Services to support Local Government operations. Land Insights has been appointed on the panel in the following areas:

It therefore pleases us to advise that we have been appointed by the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) as a preferred supplier for Town Planning Consulting Services. Under the terms of the preferred supplier arrangement we can offer strategic, statutory and regional planning, as well as planning project management services to all local governments in Western Australia.

The WALGA Preferred Supplier program ensures full compliance with the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996, inclusive of a tender exemption that provides for direct access to Land Insights. The use of the WALGA Preferred Supplier panel means that our services can be purchased without the need for tender. By specifically purchasing services under the preferred supplier arrangement without the need for detailed tender documents we are able to provide greater flexibility and improved value for our local government clients through the provision of quotations and greater consultation and customer engagement through project scoping. WALGA provides centralised contract management and maintains a comprehensive set of terms and conditions that provides contractual protection for both parties to any engagement. Land Insights is also pleased to offer Preferred Supplier consulting rates to the WALGA panel which include discounted hourly consultancy fees and disbursement charges under a defined pricing model.
