Lower School boys (Grades 3-6) experience a curriculum designed to instill foundational skills that will allow them to be successful throughout their academic careers. Our faculty know and apply the best practices for giving boys what they need to grow as engaged learners, passionate artists, and developing athletes. Middle School Academic Session and Student Life Panel
1:30 p.m. Landow Gallery
Our Middle School Forms I and II (Grades 7 and 8) curriculum equips boys with the tools to thrive in our challenging Upper School courses. Teachers collaborate across disciplines to present an integrated academic experience that mimics learning in the real world. Students may analyze literature written or set in the time and place of their history courses. As they progress, boys hone the skills that make them deep thinkers, proficient writers, and strong public speakers. Upper School Academic Session and Student Life Panel
1:30 p.m. Banfield Academic Center (BAC) Buchanan Library
Our curriculum in Forms III–VI (Grades 9–12) inspires boys to develop a love of learning and prepares them for success in college and in their lives after college graduation. As always, our teacher-coach-mentors guide boys in their endeavors. Boys learn to think, solve, and innovate so they gain confidence in their strengths and clarity in the paths their future could hold.

Landon faculty members are experts in boys’ education and know that boys will only fully open themselves to intellectual challenges and inspirational ideas when they trust that their teachers genuinely care about their well-being and success. This is the basis of our entire educational approach — what we call teacher-coach-mentor. Our teachers get to know your son not only in the classroom but also in the chorus room, on the playing field, and in ethics discussions.

College Counseling Our team of three college counselors possesses more than 60 years of college admissions experience among them, while our 25:1 student-counselor ratio is far below that of most private and public schools. Landon boys gain the expertise and the personal attention needed to confidently make the right choice. Meet the team and learn more about the process. Teacher-Coach-Mentor
