People living in the nature has a strong relationship with the nature,river and muntain.Nature gives people good environment for their living.People has a good life because of the nature.But the county without good planning and design gives the nature huge hurt and pollute.This not only for nature,but human beings.


Idea River nourishing the green,the green nourishing the city.River system is the center of the planning.It is the connection of the mountain,city and people.River give the strength to plants and gave birth to the "Green Way".The "Green way" gave birth to the city environment.

"Nourishing" is the basic idea for all of my planning and design.The city with the nature,the people with the nature,are all because of nourishing.

"Wind"in this planning

Wind in this planning is very important.Because this area is suffering from urban heat island effect,and the wind through the mountain and the river system can help solve this situation.

IFLA Asia-Pacific Region Competition

URBAN PRODUCTIVE LANDSCAPE Landscape transform wasteland around the Beijing Metro Line 13.

This project is for 2012 IFLA Asia-Pacific Region Competition.The theme of the competition is "Better Landscape,Better Life". In this case, I introduced productive landscape into urban elevated railway surrounding gray area, which could make the city railway perfect integrate with urban skin texture. In eliminating railway noise at the same time, create not only a unique landscape along but also good surrounding ecological system.Make people's lives for the better. The design analysis, from the noise attenuation, landscape effect, ecological effects and people's participation of plan to carry on the analysis. At the same time, in order to more specific expound the project, I selecting the representative area around a detailed analysis and explanation.

Eco-system and Production Rich plant species, through the natural community type planting mode, with the help of the terrain, forming a good landscape and spatial levels, greatly enriched the line 13 surrounding ecological environment. At the same time, plant flowers and fruit in different season will attract different kinds of animals to inhabit and living, a good ecological environment as the animal habitats provide guarantee. Animal and plant community rich, greatly improve the line 13 grey zone surrounding the ecological landscape effect, make the city and subway perfect fusion together.

2012 International VELUX Award

Illumine the Rainy Daylight It rains a lot in our hometown, Chengdu, China. People in this city love the rainy days because of the comfortable temperature and fresh air then. The most enjoyable thing on rainy days is to sit in front of windows, watching the city refreshing itself and rain with the soft light outside. But the room is dark on rainy days so people must turn on electric lights. We believe it is the suitable intensity of natural light refracted through the window and the wide outside view the window provides that makes it favorable. People use many ways to control the intensity strength of daylight. We use roofs, colored-glass windows and curtains to make shadows, while we turn on electric lights if too much daylight is kept out. However, daylight lightens everything and it differs from the artificial light for it can not only provide the light of soft strength but also a view to see the outside. In the city sometimes our sight is narrowed by the tiny windows or gets blocked by the roofs and walls. In our project, we come up with ground glass and water. These two things come together to form the device which can change between transparent and non-transparent with rain falls. A piece of grand glass transmits very little light when it is dry, and much more light when wet. So a window make of grand glass can not only provide a wider view but also let in more daylight on rainy days. We choose our location in the Kuanzhai, Chengdu, where people. We choose the square with two old trees to present our opinions on the relation among daylight, sight and view.

Design and research of the Bucket arch

Bucket arch is the main structure of ancient Chinese architecture which is used to transmit and disperse the roof strength.It has many different style in difficult dynasty.Not noly Chinese people liked to use the Bucket arch in the architecture,but ancient Japanese people used it to built their imperial palace.Because of the beauty and the functional structure of Bucket arch,modern people like it very much.They use this structure to build the museum and other architecture which is full of "Chinese style".

In this project,I not only show my research in the structure of Bucket arch,but also use this knowledge to design a bonsaigarden.

In this design I used my research achievement ——the different kind of bucket arch in different dynasty,the different kind of bucket arch in different country. There are lot of differences in there.And I use them all in my design to make a bonsaigarden like a architecture structure museum.

This is the original form of the bucket arch.Ancient Chinese people found that make the wooden cross and overlap could do better under the press.Then they deeply found that the top and the end of the wood was the best place to make cross.

The developing kind of bucket arch(at the Song Dynasty )

In this dynasty,bucket arch began to be used in the architecture.

After a short time of using the original kind of bucket arch,people found that they could not make the wood fasten.This would make this structure lose its superiority. People in Song dynasty found a different kind of bucket arch which made the cross to be The square block with projection.

The developed kind of bucket arch(at Qing Dynasty ) The developing kind of bucket arch has been used for a long time until people in the Qing dynasty used the column instead of bucket arch for disperse and transfer the weight of the roof. In this dynasty,people use the complicated bucket arch structure as an ornament.

Different kind of Bucket arch in different dynasty There are three major different kind of Bucket arch in Chinese architecture history.The golden age of Bucket arch was in the Song and Ming dynasty of China.

The bonsaigarden built all by the Bucket arch. There is no cement,no concrete iron,no pollution.
