Net Zero Energy

The site is constructed of recycled materials. Including recycled lumber for the faรงade, recycled steel for the structure and recycled concrete for the terrace.

An array of solar panels cover the roof. The solar panels transfer their collected energy into a converter box making the original source usable.

A two story greenhouse allows for plant growth and farming. These areas physically engage the people with nature.

The stacked bathroom system allows for waste to be carried down into a chamber that decomposes the waste and releases into a dispersion plane.

There are twelve ground source heat pumps. These pumps run water down into the earth and cycle it back up to heat the building. The same is done for cooling.

Rain water is collected, recycled and used as drinking water. The slope of the roof and core of the terrace moves water down into cisterns. The water then runs into a filtering system and is then carried indoors.
