YUKON MUNICIPAL COMPLEX INDUSTRIAL BUILDING MOBILITY COURSE MONASTERY SYNESTHETIC PAVILION BOUTIQUE MUSEUM PHOTOGRAPHER’S STUDIO SKETCHES
The goal of this project was to create a municipal complex for the city of Yukon, Oklahoma that would not only serve as the city’s headquarters, but that would also work towards the revitalization of downtown Yukon and the historic Route 66. This project pursued the careful development of downtown, and sought to bring life back to the city’s streets through the implementation of community interaction and entertainment.

The purpose of this assignment was to teach the integration of structural systems into the design process. Each student created a pattern on a small grid, which then had to be translated into the structure of the industrial building. Each building had to be naturally lit and ventilated as to create a comfortable work environment.
