We’ve been loving leather and all the intense emotions it transpires since 1951. One family, three generations, 60 years of hard, passionate work have been employed to sculpt all the shapes this raw material possesses within its grain, turning it into a furnishing and covering object, investing in technologies and spaces, believing in skills and competences, experimenting ideas and projects. SISTEMA DI POSA Uno degli elementi che maggiormente differenzia le collezioni Lapèlle Design dagli altri rivestimenti in pelle attualmente presenti sul mercato è sicuramente il sistema di posa, brevetto esclusivo di Scamosceria Astico. L’installazione delle piastrelle in pelle, identica che si tratti di pavimenti o rivestimenti di pareti o arredi, è facile, molto intuitiva, non richiede l’intervento di personale specializzato e consente di rimuovere, sostituire o riposizionare ciascun pannello o tessera infinite volte. I rivestimenti in pelle Lapèlle Design, quindi, ci permettono di sbagliare, di cambiare idea, di seguire le mode del momento e anche, semplicemente, di giocare. Partendo dalla stesura di uno strato autoadesivo che ricopre la superficie da rivestire, si procede poi con la posa delle singole tessere in pelle che, grazie ad un meccanismo asole-uncini, si fissano in maniera stabile alla superficie rimanendo però amovibili per ogni eventuale sostituzione o intervento di manutenzione. Il brevetto Lapèlle Design, inoltre, si estende alla composizione delle singole piastrelle in pelle che non necessitano di supporti rigidi e mantengono quindi inalterata l’elasticità e la naturale flessibilità della pelle consentendo anche il rivestimento di pareti curve, irregolari o di angoli e spigoli.
LAYING SYSTEM The leather tiles laying system, Scamosceria Astico’s exclusive patent, is certainly one of the elements that mostly differentiates Lapèlle Designs leather tiles from other leather coverings. The installation of leather tiles, whether flooring, coverings, walls or furniture, is easy and very intuitive; it does not require any specialized staff and enables to remove or replace every leather tiles endless times. Lapèlle Design leather tiles let us make mistakes, change our minds, follow the mood, or simply play. After laying a self-adhesive layer on the entire surface to be covered, we apply on it, one by one, every leather tiles, which are now fixed to the surface but yet removable for any change or maintenance. Lapèlle Design patent also extends to leather tiles structure that do not need any rigid support, and therefore keep elasticity and natural flexibility of leather unchanged, and allow us to cover rounded, irregularly shaped panels, angles and corners.
STRUTTURA Ogni elemento è composto di da una struttura morbida (spessore mm 4,5) ricoperta di pelle bovina (mm1 ca) pieno fiore, morbido camoscio e rifinizioni hitech per la massima resistenza all’usura. I materiali utilizzati, inoltre, assicurano il massimo comfort termico e acustico per garantire un ambiente dolcemente ovattato nelle stanze più intime e riservate. STRUCTURE Every leather tiles are made of a soft structure (4.5 mm thick) covered with full-grain cow leather (1 mm thick), soft suede and hitech finishings for maximum use resistance. Moreover, the employed materials ensure the highest levels of thermal and acoustic comfort, creating a softly wrapped environment within the most private, intimate rooms. Each leather tile structure is composed as follows: - Stain-proof and waterproof treated leather for covering - Layer of sound-absorbing material - Coupling fabric - Self-adhesive coupling system
GARANZIA E MANUTENZIONE Ogni prodotto viene testato e sottoposto a prove fisiche e meccaniche per la massima durata nel tempo. È comunque importante, per mantenere inalterata la bellezza dell’installazione, evitare l’esposizione diretta alla luce del sole e a fonti di calore. La pulizia, inoltre, estremamente facile, va effettuata con prodotti igienizzanti neutri e non aggressivi.
GUARANTEE AND AFTER SALES CARE All Lapèlle leather tiles undergoes several chemical, physical, rinsing and fireproofing tests in order to guarantee a long-lasting durability. It is fundamental though, in order to protect the beauty of the installation throughout time, to avoid direct exposure to sunlight or sources of heat. The leather tiles cleaning, finally, which is extremely easy, must be done with solely neutral non-aggressive products.
