The GR5, or Grande RandonnĂŠe Cinq, is a hiking trail that goes from Lake Geneva, through the Alps, to the Mediterranean. This trail runs past snowcovered mountains and little French villages.

DAY 5 A must-see in Paris is Le Procope, situated on Rue Mazarine. It’s the oldest café in Paris, opening in 1686 to sell coffee. It was a favourite of many 18th century actors and philosophers, including Voltaire.
