GRÖNAN
Riksgränsen also boasts an amusement park called Grönan. The legendary aprèsski scene, the bar, and our classic burgers are just a few of the attractions you simply must experience in person.
Whether you want to unwind with friends and colleagues or let loose after an unforgettable day in the mountains, the choice is yours. Grönan can also be booked for private events and accommodates up to 600 guests.
BAR RALLAREN
Bar Rallaren is a popular spot for unwinding after a full day in the mountains. During the ski season, you can enjoy fantastic après-ski, a wellstocked bar, cold beer, live gigs, and tricky quiz nights.
Conveniently located in the same building as Hotel Fjället, Rallaren is also available for private bookings. It’s an excellent choice for events such as weddings, with a capacity for up to 120 guests.

SOLHYLLAN
This pristine log cabin of 100 square meters boasts two floors, and is spacious enough for 8-10 people. On the downstairs, there is a large living room with long and comfortable sofas, a TV-DVD, and a fireplace. Upstairs is another living room with sofa and TV. There is a well-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, double fridges, dishwasher, microwave oven and ample seating. The cabin also features a large porch and a private jacuzzi. The bathroom downstairs has shower, WC and sauna and a second bathroom downstairs has shower and WC.
HOTEL FJÄLLET
A jewel in the Scandinavian mountains, offering fourstar accommodation ranging from single, double and family sized rooms. Even in the secluded reaches of Swedish Lapland, you’ll find a huge array to fit your desires, everything from souvenirs to necessities. Bar Rallaren or Lobbybaren have something to offer adults and kids alike, but exclusive to the children is our playroom, Lämmelrummet. Stay with self-catering on your own terms in modern cottages, close to magnificent nature.
The cottages are adjacent to Hotell Fjället, Restaurant Lapporten, and Bar Rallaren, with ski-in/ski-out access to the Björkliden lift system. HOTEL RIKSGRÄNSEN
The classic mountain hotel, Hotell Riksgränsen, offers single, double, family rooms, and suites at a four-star standard. Additionally, you can choose to stay in simpler ski rooms for 2 to 4 people. At the hotel, you’ll find a well-stocked reception, Restaurant Lapplandia, the après-ski and nightclub Grönan, the Lobby Bar, and our sunny outdoor restaurant, Pelikanhyllan. Under the same roof, you’ll also find doctors, conference rooms, a sauna, a spa, and our sports department with a shop, rental services, and information.
LÅKTATJÅKKO MOUNTAIN LODGE
Låktatjåkko Mountain Station is a unique facility offering beds, a restaurant, bar, sauna, and shower, located nine kilometers from Björkliden in the heart of roadless country. We provide accommodation with 18 beds across 10 rooms, including twin and single rooms. All rooms have a washbasin, with shared shower and toilet facilities in the corridor. Breakfast and a 2-course dinner are included in the price.

Want to maximize your experience in Riksgränsen? You can book the entire Meteorologen for your group. Meteorologen Ski Lodge is the oldest building in Riksgränsen and our flagship for both accommodation and gastronomy.
PREMIUM ACCOMMODATION
Meteorologen Ski Lodge is located right next to Hotel Riksgränsen and is the former customs house, which, after careful renovations starting from the old timber frame, has been transformed into a cozy and welcoming ski lodge with a 4-star standard.
Built in 1903, the house originally served as the area’s customs house at the beginning of the century. Following its renovation, both the exterior and interior have been given a face-lift with cultural and historical ambitions, preserving the original exterior while combining it with a cozy interior.
Meteorologen Ski Lodge has 14 rooms of varying sizes. Each room retains its unique character and offers modern amenities, including fresh bathrooms and comfortable Hästens beds. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

HOW TO GET HERE
There are multiple ways to travel to us – by flight, by train or by car.
BY FLIGHT
The airplane departs from Stockholm and arrives in Kiruna after approximately 90 minutes, after which you need to go by transfer bus, train or car to Björkliden or Riksgränsen. The transfer between Kiruna and Björkliden/Riksgränsen also takes about 90 minutes; the total trip takes about 4 hours between Stockholm and Björkliden/Riksgränsen.
BY CAR
Drive north on the E4, turn left at Töre and then take the E10 to Kiruna and Narvik. From Kiruna, you follow the signs to Narvik. From Kiruna to Björkliden, it takes about 1 hr and 15 mins and to Riksgränsen it takes about 1 hr and 40 mins.
TAXI
Taxi Kiruna operates between Kiruna and Björkliden.
BY TRAIN
Start your ideas along the journey! Take the train to the most beautiful conference venue while making a climate-smart choice. The train is a safe and reliable mode of transport that allows you to make the most of your travel time. For large groups, you can even book an entire carriage and start your conference right on board. The train also features sleeping cars, which can be reserved for smaller meetings where your creative ideas can flow uninterrupted. Board the train in the evening in Stockholm or Gothenburg and wake up to a stunning mountain landscape the next morning. You’ll arrive in Björkliden and Riksgränsen around lunchtime. The journey from Stockholm to Björkliden/ Riksgränsen takes approximately 18 hours. From the train station in Björkliden, it’s just a few hundred meters up to Hotell Fjället. Meanwhile, the train station in Riksgränsen is located right in the heart of the village, only about 100 meters from Hotell Riksgränsen.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
• Waste Reduction: We have implemented waste sorting programs for our guests in our Kåppas cabin village and at the camping, including composting, and are actively working to extend these practices to our hotel rooms during the fall of 2024. All waste from the restaurants and our other resort facilities are managed accordingly to refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle.
• Carbon Footprint Reduction: We are actively involved in the SLAO guidelines to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize our impact on the environment.
• Nature Conservation: We educate all visiting as well as prospective guests about the importance of preserving the Arctic ecosystem and encourage responsible behavior, such as minimizing waste and respecting wildlife.
• Charging stations: In both Riksgränsen and Björkliden there are several charging stations available for electric cars, to make it easier for our guests to choose a sustainable travel option.
