Each of my works has a different edge for me. During 2014 I lost the use of my hands, arms and legs due to an auto-immune disorder. This forced me to learn new ways of applying paint to the canvas and getting my ideas, views and creativity to be heard and expressed. It was both a tremendous loss and anxiety merged with an excitement because I was forced to re-learn basic things like how to hold a cup, a pen and a paintbrush amongst other things.
